Increasing reliability and transparency in processes through blockchain

On December 12, International Neutrality Day is observed, a perfect opportunity to explore the improvements that a technology like blockchain can bring in a field like this.

Just think of Dedit.io, a platform dedicated to document notarization on the blockchain, and how it aims to revolutionize the way files are currently managed. Both at the retail and business levels, the concepts of ease of use, security, and reliability coexist, thanks to a decentralized management approach.

Neutrality is an indispensable principle whose foundations rest on the concepts of impartiality and transparency. The field of notarization is no exception, where ensuring authentication that respects these requirements is a matter of utmost importance.

This task has always been solely fulfilled by notaries, professionals who attest to the legal validity of documents and contracts in a traditional manner. However, the advent of blockchain technology offers us a range of new possibilities that serve not to supplant but rather to improve existing processes. Just think, in this regard, of the improvements that the introduction of decentralization and transparency-by-design concepts would bring to the sector.

For several years now, Blockchain Italia has identified what was effectively a market gap and decided to enter the notarization sector, laying the groundwork for what would later become Dedit.io as we know it today. A mature company that can boast successful case studies with top-notch clients such as BNL and Auditel, both operating in contexts where neutral and accurate data management is of vital importance.

To meet the high standards of quality, security, and reliability demanded by the market, Dedit adopts advanced encryption systems such as SHA256, integrates digital signatures and SPID to offer its customers the so-called Advanced Electronic Signature (FEA), and moreover, these milestones are achieved in an environmentally friendly manner thanks to the Algorand blockchain.

Specifically, when we talk about SHA256, we refer to one of the most famous and secure cryptographic hash functions in the world, a fundamental step in ensuring the security of data recorded on the blockchain. As for the FEA, this is currently the highest expression possible of legal validity, effectiveness in private writing, and transparency. Ultimately, the choice to use Algorand as the cornerstone of the project is due to the Carbon Negative nature of the blockchain in question, allowing us to innovate without compromises.

These are the points that make Dedit.io the Italian leader in the sector, combined with the possibility of a varied range of solutions, suitable for meeting the needs of institutional clients and SMEs as well as freelance professionals.
